Inside Our Toolbox Talks

We believe in creating a supportive, connected, and engaged workplace where everyone feels valued. This morning, we hosted one of our regular Toolbox Talks—a fantastic opportunity for our team to come together, share important updates, and enjoy a coffee and a bacon roll in a relaxed setting. These sessions are just one of the ways we ensure our colleagues are informed, heard, and empowered. Here’s what we covered today:

We shared the proposed changes within the teams, as we look to enhance our service to customers. We consulting with colleagues on transferring over to Llanw to support our growth and deliver even better results for our customers.

Safety is a top priority for us. With an increase in vehicle accidents since April, we’re reviewing the causes and brainstorming ways to prevent any further incidents. Keeping our colleagues and the public safe on the roads is essential, and we’re committed to improving our processes.

We introduced Service Connect, our new repairs system, which is already helping us see where we can streamline processes and remove any bottlenecks our colleagues have identified. This system represents a significant step forward in making the workday more efficient for everyone.

Ensuring our colleagues are safe, both in the workplace and when visiting customers’ homes, is key to our culture. Today, we provided training on sexual harassment, including the latest changes in the law, to make sure everyone knows how to act safely and respectfully in any environment.

Understanding our customers is at the heart of what we do. We reviewed feedback on what’s going well and identified areas where we can improve. These insights will be discussed during one-on-ones with coordinators and explored further as part of our Feedback Friday initiative to ensure continuous improvement.

We engaged with our colleagues to gather their ideas on our upcoming six-month celebration. From the topics they’d like covered to where we should hold it, and whether a social aspect would help us connect more—everyone’s input will shape this milestone event.

At Llanw, it’s not just about the work—it’s about creating an environment where people feel supported, heard, and part of a team. If you’re looking for a workplace that values communication, engagement, and growth, Llanw might be the place for you.
